Mission

Signal Processing, Inc. researches, develops, licenses and supports proprietary machine learning and pattern recognition software for government and commercial markets. We offer feasibility studies, consulting services, custom made solutions and software, development of high-end algorithms for challenging pattern recognition problems, and R&D cooperation and partnership. SPI performs research and development in the areas of image/video processing, speech processing, signal processing, fault diagnostics and prognostics, chemical agent detection, and control applications.

Core Competencies

Signal Processing Inc. has 11 employees (8 of them have PhDs), all of whom have extensive experiences in algorithm design and implementation, hardware implementation, and real-time system integration. Researchers of SPI are active in the research community, especially in the area of speech processing, pattern recognition, diagnostics and prognostics, condition based maintenance, signal/image processing, and real-time controls.

In addition, SPI works with various consultants and subcontractors at leading universities, such as Johns Hopkins University, Carnegie Mellon University, Virginia Tech., Texas A&M University, who are working at SPI and form an integral part of our company.

We have close collaborations with many universities and companies, including West Virginia University, University of Maryland at College Park, University of Missouri at Columbia, University of Delaware, Arizona State University, University of Texas at Arlington, UT Pan American, U.
